Marathon County, WI: Farmland Preservation Zoning District

Marathon County, Wisconsin established a Farmland Preservation Zoning District for the purpose of maintaining productive agricultural lands by limiting encroachment of non-agricultural development.

Eligible landowners in this district may qualify for tax credits in accordance with the state’s farmland preservation law.

The Farmland Preservation Zoning District ordinance can be found in Chapter 17.301 of the below text, page 74.
