Resolution for Heirs’ Property Task Force

This resolution would create the Heirs’ Property Study Task Force to address heirs’ property issues in Illinois by determining the amount of land subject to the heirs’ property system, studying the impacts of federal and state legislation on land partition, analyze approaches from other states to address heirs property, and present a final report by December 31, 2022.
