An Act to establish the Carbon Sequestration Task Force; report

This bill convenes a task force to study carbon sequestration, considering methods of increasing sequestration through practices and policies. The task force would establish benchmarks, develop a standard method to establish baseline carbon and future sequestration, and consider carbon markets and other funding mechanisms.

This bill was enacted on March 31, 2021 and will take effect July 2021.
