Established in 1999, California FarmLink has developed a statewide program of economic development support for beginning, limited-resource, immigrant and other underserved farmers. FarmLink offers an online Land Access Program to connect California landowners and farmers; flexibly structured financing; an Individual Development Account (IDA) program to help beginning, low-resource farmers build business equity; and business support and training. They also can provide tools to help clarify goals and facilitate family discussions about the future of the farm business.
