Each state in the Northeast is at a different phase of developing stakeholder consensus and a cohesive set of policies around solar siting best practices. Within our communities, perceptions and policies about solar vary widely. This document aims to lay out some high-level principles that are useful for a state or community to keep in mind when seeking to address solar siting policy.
