This template agreement (Form NRCS-LTP-31) is used in USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Agricultural Conservation Easement Program – Wetland Reserve Easement component (ACEP-WRE). The agency enters into this agreement with a participating landowner to initiate the acquisition process of an ACEP-WRE easement. The agreement lists the amount NRCS will pay, describes the property and acreage, and lists the easement length. The agreement will list a date by which the easement will close unless an extension is agreed to by both parties.
