Maine Farmland Trust (MFT) engages in Buy-Protect-Sell transactions in which it purchases a farm in fee, protects it with an agricultural conservation easement, and then sells the protected land to a farmer. When selling a property as part of a Buy-Protect-Sell transaction, MFT follows the policies outlined in this document. These policies relate to pricing, listing real estate, choosing a buyer, how they make decisions, and more.
