This guidance, along with the companion Model Zoning for the Regulation of Solar Energy Systems (linked below), was prepared for the Massachusetts Dept. of Energy Resources to assist cities and towns throughout Massachusetts in establishing reasonable standards to facilitate the development of small-, medium- and large-scale ground-mounted and roof-mounted solar energy systems.
