An Act amending the act of June 30, 1981 (P.L.128, No.43), known as the Agricultural Area Security Law, further providing for purchase of agricultural conservation easements and for Agricultural Conservation Easement Purchase Fund.

This bill would expand the Agriculture Conservation Easement Purchase Program, increasing annual funding by adding real estate transfer taxes as a dedicated source of funding. It would also reduce the minimum size for preserved farmland from 50 to 25 acres and expand options for subdividing land protected by an easement.
