Connecticut Farm to School Statute

The Farm to School program promotes the sale of state grown farm products to school districts and individual schools under the jurisdiction of the Department of Education (DOE). The bill also calls for the DOE to promote events such as Connecticut Grown for Connecticut Kids week to bring school children together with agriculture both in and outside the classroom.
