Washington County, Oregon has established an Exclusive Farm Use (EFU) Zone for the purpose of preserving commercial agricultural land in the county. The county zoning ordinance establishes three types of procedures to be used for reviewing and taking action on development proposals. The permitted uses in an EFU zone depend on the type of procedure required.
