Implications of Large Solar Installations and Leasing on Farmland

This webinar is for planners, municipalities, farmers, and landowners who are considering leasing large solar installations on farmland. Topics include relevant policies, electricity generation and community need, concerns for high quality soils, and recommendations for dual use solar and agriculture.

The presentation also includes a closer look at the work of the Tug Hill Commission, a non regulatory state agency charged with helping local governments and citizens shape the future of the Tug Hill region of New York.

The session concludes with a question and answer discussion.
