American Farmland Trust (AFT) created soil health management planning worksheets to guide farmers and their services providers through basic considerations in planning for the integration of cover crops on farms in multiple regions and cropping systems. These worksheets were informed by farm operations and lessons learned through cover crop demonstration trials conducted on 14 farms across the U.S. in 2021-2025. 

These planning worksheets can be used by producers, extension professionals, and other agricultural professionals who help producers consider how to adopt cover crops and/or modify their cover crop management systems.
